The
Bogen/Manfrotto 521PRO is a camera controller designed specifically for the LANC protocol used by Sony and Canon MiniDV, HDV and Hi8 camcorders. The unit can control many critical functions remotely, including power, zoom speed, record, and focus. The 521PRO comes equipped with the 522SCA 10" (25 cm) coiled cable which can extend up to 20" (50 cm.)
