Product Description
Manfrotto's Hydro Stat-NANO Kit 814 uses modern hydraulics for a locking technology that delivers an impressive kit for the placement of objects (monitors, microphones, flashes, etc.) around, or on, your camera.
The 2 NANO clamps and single 5.1" (12.95 cm) hydrostat arm included in this kit lock and unlock firmly, but with minimal effort, due to the advanced ball locking mechanism: turning the knob of the hydrostat system lightly compresses oil in a filled chamber, blocking the movement of the ball. Since the force exerted by the liquid is evenly distributed and more constant than that of standard mechanisms, the locking power is dramatically improved.
The Hydrostat arm has a prodigious load capacity of 7.7 lbs (3.5 kg) plus a 3/8" end and a 1/4-20" end for connecting assorted studs, microphones, monitors, etc. The pivoting pin is threaded with 1/4" and 3/8" studs so that it can be attached on top of a video camera to support small monitors or other video accessories.
